Running an AML Check


This article discusses how to run a new instant AML check (Address & Mortality and PEPs & Sanctions check) on an individual via Unity PMS, how to edit an individual's details and re-run checks.

Running a new instant AML check


Step One: To run an instant AML check via Unity PMS, you simply need to first create your client by clicking 'New Client'.





Step Two: You will then need to fill out your clients details, please use your clients name as it appears on official document, and ensure that their date of birth and address are correct.


Please note - You will only be able to run instant AML checks on clients who reside in the UK as we use data from the UK Credit Database and UK Electoral Roll. Please click here for more information on what our Instant AML Checks include.






Step Three: Once you have created your client, you will be asked if you wish to run an instant AML check on the individual. Click 'Perform Check'.

Step Four: Your check will then be run.






Step Five: You will then be presented with your check, which would have either passed or referred. You can then download the report by clicking 'Download Report'.

Editing an individual's details & re-running the AML check


lf you had previously entered incorrect information on the individual, and you wish to re-run their check, you can edit the individuals information by clicking the 'Edit' button below.



 


You can then re-run the Instant AML check by clicking 'AML'. You will then be presented with the individual's previous reports, and you can re-run the check using the new information you have provided, by clicking 'Perform check'.
