Updating your Client Care Letter

We recommend updating your client care letter to reference Credas to ensure that your client has been given appropriate context and has a smooth experience with their due diligence checks.

By updating your client care letter to reference Credas, you are letting them know in advance that you are going to be using Credas to complete your due diligence checks on them. This ensures that the client is expecting communications from us and helps alleviate any concerns around sharing person information.

We have created some suggested wording to insert into your client care letter below:

"As part of our due diligence processes, our clients are asked to submit their person information to our third-party partner Credas, a Dye & Durham Solution.

Credas are a UK Government-certified Identity Service Provider, who help regulated organisations conduct due diligence on their clients. Credas holds Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 7001 certification, ensuring that any personal information is stored safely and securely.

You will recieve an email or SMS text message from Credas inviting you to complete our client due-diligence checks. Should you require any assistance while completing your checks you can find user guides and video tutorials, as well as raise a query directly with the Credas team, by visiting the site below:
