How do I set up Client Care Letters?

Summary


If you are using our eSign solution for client care letters, you will have the option of using a Dye & Durham default or using your own templates.


If custom templates are required, please send these though to uksearchsupport@dyedurham.com


Document format


Client care letter templates must be provided in a docx (standard Microsoft word) format in order to be uploaded to the  system.


Merge data


Within the eSign solution it is possible to use merge data to populate certain document fields on a per customer basis.


Common examples include:
- Customer name
- Customer address
- Date
- Matter reference
- Matter description


Please note we are not able to do either/or statements. 


If you wish to use merge data this will need to be easily identifiable in your templates so it can be actioned by a member of our team.

To identity any fields that require merging, please highlight these in yellow such as in the example below:



Where merge fields are used, they can then be populated by the customer when sending the invite - such as in the example below:
